Need more personal stashes

There really should be more personal stashes around the zone - one per area would be ideal. I'm at a quest in the SW area of the map and the quest giver is like "If you need to gear up, do it now" - bro, the closest stash is 2 km away, and I just walked 3 km to get here. I would love nothing more than to drop off some ♥♥♥♥ and grab a few more rounds, but not spending another 10 minutes walking.

And because every post here needs this disclaimer, I'm not a Russian troll, I played the original trilogy, I don't want easy mode, I just want a box...

There pretty much is one per area, anywhere you can sleep there's one but maybe in another room

I'm in Duga and the closest stashes are in Malachite or Rostok which are both 2km away.

You had to do alot of walking and back and forth travel in the original stalker too if you don't like it this isn't the game for you, its the way it is

take your time and enjoy it don't speed run it....

I just use the trainer to teleport to the way point and back. Use it responsibly to save time. I personally don't think it ruins the fun of the game.

I mean, Duga is completly in Enemy hands and no matter what you do you cant side with them ether, so it makes sense that there is no stash around.

Maybe I can test it more but I have dumped gear into a hidden stash and all my stuff was there when I eventually came back for it.

No that isn't true only the yellow box ones at bases are personal, Not recommended to use random stashes you find to hold your loot cause stalker statshes activated by PDA for example could replace it

I would imagine, realistically they could but I don't think that's a mechanic in the game.
