Opening stashbox anywhere crashes game now
I cant open my stash without it crashing my game. I've already lugged my stuff out of one area because the stash box didn't work there. Went to a completely different town and I still crash! I'm just passed the visions of truth quest. I've deleted all mods (I only had lighter items and mutant loot) and nothing is working. Any tips besides start over or just never use stash?

After recent patch looting bodies or hidden stashes causes a crash. Tried without mods, tried verifying files - didnt help, maybe its a related bug? If so i hope someone can help fix it

Unmodded game doesn't have any of these problems. Try a fresh save after purging any and all mods.

I'm 75 hours in, if I have to start over, I'm unisntalling.

Just checked, all saved files are bugged with this and it didn't start happening till 1.03. Any way to roll back the update?

that's the test if the game is wrong, or something else is

65 hours and the only crashes I get are going into certain vortex anomalies.

Mutant loot was the issue from what I can tell. By deleting mutant loot the game is trying to load invisible items that are not there anymore thus causing it to crash. I've tried everything and the only fix I can find is to start a new playthrough and don't download mods until the mod tools are officially released.

From the Mutant Loot mod description on nexus:
Uninstall Instructions:
Uninstalling new mod Items visible in inventory slots will break those slots when the mod is removed. Sell all mutant parts, wait 24 hours and confirm they are gone from traders, now delete all mod files. I cant make any guarantees but this has been 100% successful in my testing.

I would advice against use mods until the game is more stable.

Why do people mod this when so many new patches are due to come out? You must have known the risk your saves getting broken

You get it all wrong, modders are the professionals, devs are stupid.
/s off
Meanwhile 70h in, vanilla, 1 crash which was fixed with reatart and 15h again without crash...
Im also wondering how many of the stutter, crash posts are self inflicted...

That's why modders are flooding the market with awesome huge projects - they are the best of the best of the best and never fail in complex work environments. /s

Yeah I played about 10 hours with 0 issues on vanilla and just wanted to fix the FOV. Flawless Widescreen isn't even a mod, its a memory hack that fixes the FOV and views and makes the game infinitely more playable however, in 10 hours of running it now... I've had 3 crashes and some very wonky viewport issues but a restart still fixes it.

You can mod but its not a very good idea for a game that has a bunch of issues still and is constantly being patched which also breaks mods. You're just asking for problems as others have stated.
