SVD/SVU just feel out of place in this game considering how it works.
So AK for early, and swap to Dnipro for late. clarify your use case for Vintar? and dont use SVD because?
I personally found the Vintar really underwhelming with really bad bullet dropoff and the SVD was super inaccurate. Something about the Mark 1 EMR doesn't feel right to me but I can't place my finger on it.
It kinda sucks because it's a long range scope on a mid ranged gun but it will sell well if you don't like it
Nevermind I think it was lummoxs
For me, I prefer eastern Russian or Ukrainian weapons in Stalker, they just fit my head canon. The NATO-ammunition weapons work fine. It's more of a role play thing for me.
There's a 416 you can get near the poppy fields that will do nicely. Don't want to spoil it more.
AK weapons are easier to loot ammo for too, less trips back to the trader
I like its drop off. It is easy to adapt to.
