Patch 1.03 Made the game unplayable

Hi guys,

Just FYI I can't even launch the game anymore as per this last patch. Am verfying integrity of file cache as I type this hoping it was just a botch on behalf of steam but the game was running fine up till last night and now it just refuses to launch.

same here open the game to black screen. ive verified integrity and reinstall the game nothing seems to fix it. i found another post online about launching through a different exe in the folder but that does not do anything either. may god help us

Please tell me you're not using mods already? Maybe that is why it doesn't start?

Started just fine for me, even with a couple mods. Not sure what your issue might be.

I agree, the game is currently in a "broken" state, after a few minutes of playing, the FPS drops to 5-10, which is unplayable... the game didn't do that before

I'm not using any mods and prior to this update the game ran fairly well, i never had any problems with speaking to npc's. After the update, when speaking with Ganja in Rostok for instance, pressing ESC to leave the conversation removes all the dialog options and i'm stuck just looking at him, though the game doesn't freeze. However when i go into my stash the game will freeze and i have to force close the game or try to at least. Sometimes even using task manager won't close the game. This did not happen before this patch. All my drivers are up to date, and so is windows

yea this sucks having the same issue. Cant even play for 3 minutes before it plummets...

before was consistently getting 120-150 fps no issues.

Ran it twice since the update yesterday and it behaves the same way, still crashing.

+1 waited 2 hours for the patch to be done and installed, only to trying to fix and verify my game for another 1,5 hours, for it to crash right away at launch

Is there a way to downgrade from 1.03 to 1.02? My Game was running very well until 1.02
