Unreachable Artifact on a rock north of Clear Sky base

[Stannis the Mannis]

Does anyone know how to reach this artifact? It floats next to a dead body on a high rock about half way up the swamp peninsula just north from Clear Sky base. I keep trying to somehow jump up from a smaller rock next to it but it seems impossible.

I hate to say it but you just jump from the smaller rock next to it :P That's how I got it.

I tried and tried but it doesn't work. I keep slipping down.

Might seem like a stupid question but are you sprint jumping?

Also, if your even slightly overweight, drop some inventory. Even if your not showing a white icon, the difference between 10-15kg less weight can be all the difference with some jumps, and if you are showing a white icon, for goodness sake drop some stuff, jump up there, then grab your stuff that was dropped.

Yes, but I guess I'm just really bad at at. If other people manage to do it I probably just gotta try harder or something.

Thanks for your input guys. Absolutely it was the weight. Once I dropped everything I could it worked immediately.

Im on top of that rock with bear detector and artifact does not appear anywhere near the dead science guy. Anyone else having this issue?

For me the artifact was there from the get go. I could see it from afar.

For me the artifact was there from the get go. I could see it from afar.

On the way back yes it should be there. Also yes, carry weight is the issue here. Below 70 kilos and you are able to jump otherwise feel like super cat that falls between 2 garbage containers.

I'm having that same issue right now, did you find a fix for it?
