Where is the fix for this?

Input Device Issues

If your input device keeps switching between a controller and other inputs:
Disconnect all controllers from your PC, including gaming joysticks, steering wheels, and handbrakes.

Im not plugging my devices in and out over and over!

also would need the fix for this, i play SC and DCS, so i have two sticks, a throttle and pedals and a tobii eye tracker, having to disconnect all these each time to play stalker is annoying to say the least, give us the option to disable controller inputs please

same, SC dual sticks, pedals, tobi, camera and 2 instrument panels. If i unplug them it will mess up my keybinds

You can set steam launch option to
-NoGamepad
Someone in another thread found this and it worked for me.

I've had issues with being unable to use the controller at times. I got it to work for 6 hours on day two before it stopped working. During that time, I had used mods. Checked mods, it wasn't mods. Uninstalled and reinstalled game. No go. Found out is was my icue. I need icue for my Skuf controller and I need THAT to play the game cause I only have one working hand and I have learned a way to play games effectively.

Controller stopped working again so I was trying to see if people were still having issues. Gonna reinstall/repair icue to fix it but, yeah. That was MY solution.
