Anyone feel theres way too much loot, even on Vet?
ive got good hours in the game but my storage is insanely stacked, ive just entered SIRCAA and i have almost 2k rounds of 5.45, 9mm and 9x18, 700 buckshot and 5.56, the rarest ammo is 308 and 7.62x54 at about 100rds. 300 medkits and bandages, 100 canned food, sausages, water, vodks, 80 anti rads. i just have an insane stash. ive died a lot but mostly because I am figuring out anomalies Tornado anomaly got me 6 or so times trying to get the bolt to spawn. Idk game just feels to easy with all the loot.

Playing vet aswell, i agree there is too much loot laying around, medkits and bandage everywhere, either Gsc will rebalance it or we will get some mods later on i guess.

Never too much when your repair costs are out of the Zone

Flashback to the 80's in certain areas around that location... loaf of bread, twelve hour wait and half a weeks salary

I don't mind. Deciding if I need stuff and finding loot is one of the things about this game I like.

Agreed, there has to be something worth searching for... plus you might not even get half of what it's worth if you go to the wrong seller

Well not really if anything we need MORE LOOT lots more of it just different type can't stress this enough many more types.

The game just needs more variety of loot..
Variety sucks right now and most places are and feel empty and if you do find loot is gamified with 100 medkits or food. So looting sucks cos of it and gets boring after first few hours of gameplay.
Together with lack of good placement for loot that's already in the game it breaks the immersion of the world for me.

We need :
1. More food types - If i see one more sausage i will go aaaaaaaa:steamfacepalm:
2. Thirst system with loot for it... Water soft drinks.
3. More Meds, painkillers, radiation protection pills, Stim packs and other boosters.
4. Valuables like gold diamonds silver ect... jewelry, watches, Labtops, PC parts radios.
5. Weapon parts that you can reuse or resell.
6. Mutant parts that you can loot and sell
7. MONEY two currencies at least!!! Real ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ money so i can loot it from npcs!

You call it loot i call it a junk. I got over 300 medkits, tons of vodka, beer, canned food and everything else. For me it is no loot it's a waste of time.

Yeah we get way too many consumables. They should add some junk loot that you can sell for coupons instead of drowning us in heal items. And reduce the amount of loot overall on Veteran.

I would not say way too much loot in general because certain ammo types, and consumables are very rare like Psy-block for example.

Here are my main issues with the loot on vet:
- Medkits and bandages are WAY too common. When I'm finding more healing supplies then I need and I never need to buy them, then they are way too plentiful. At any given time I have at least 15 medkits on me and thats usually after I sell a truckload for extra cash.

- Food is way too common and the breakable boxes give way too many supplies.

- Ammo boxes seem to only give 2-3 types of ammo leaving the more rare types out of the pool. 99% of my spawns from the green ammo boxes is either 9x18, or shotgun shells. It would be nice for there to be a chance for rarer ammo types like .308 or AP rounds to drop from ammo boxes. Or what about having an empty box from time to time lol.

I would also like to see consumables like water, energy drinks,...etc to be more rare BUT to last longer when you use them. This will make the player think twice before chugging 20 energy drinks to get to camp.

Outside of those issues I like how rare fully repaired guns are, like like how rare armors are, I like how artifacts work in this game and how rare some are and I really like the feeling of finding those well hidden named guns that offer different advantages over the original guns.

I'm still am loving the game, but limiting loot pools and making thing more rare will do wonders for the survival aspects of this game. I believe the reason some people find the loot boring is because of how common a lot of it is, if some of them were much more rare/limited there will actually be excitement at finding a scientific healing kit and things like that.

yep that's why we need more types of loot so extra loot you talk about can be replaced by other loot.
