I Got My Zalissya Defense Quest to Work Again! [Bug Workaround, No Mods]

I was running into a bug where I'd go back to Zalissya to do a side quest (the defense mission), and the blue marker was set to a door that was permanently locked. Some other folks online figured out that you can go to The Sphere, get the attention of some Monolith enemies and lure them to Zalissya. I did not discover this, but I wanted to share my experience with anyone that is struggling to make progress because of this mission.

Some tips: I would shoot at the ground around the enemies as I'd move backwards towards Zalissya. Save if possible when they're far away enough, as I ran into a couple instances of dogs attacking them and had to go back to help keep them alive. The enemies do well enough at avoiding environmental hazards. Once inside Zalissya, wander close to where the marker is and let the NPCs take the enemies out. Once done, approach the door and it will be unlocked.

Another hopefully helpful tip. The mission that comes after, On The Edge (I think), I left the city by just a little bit and then got the notification that Zalissya was under siege. Ran back and helped protect the village. Once that was done, I ran into another issue where Gaffer said they successfully defended and to meet at the assembly. The journal didn't update though, and it said that I still had to defend Zalissya. My solution was to leave the village again by just a little, and I received another radio update that Zalissya was defended successfully. Once I came back to talk to Gaffer, the quest concluded.

It works, but I brought monoliths from the eastern checkpoint. When leaving its gate, make sure that the monolith is chasing you (shooting at you) then just go to Zalissya and a monolith will constantly spawn behind you (you can make sure of this by the constant appearance of "stealth arrows")
