Also, some quest givers will buy specific artifacts from you at much better prices than what the standard vendors will, so it pays to keep at least one per type in your stash just in case.
Though i would recommend using atleast one that protects against radiation ;)
These are all the bonuses that can come from artifacts;
Endurance; (Stamina+Regeneration)
Weight: (+Max Carry Weight)
Physical: (Physical Anomaly Damage Reduction)
Chemical: (Chemical Anomaly Damage Reduction)
Electric: (Electric Anomaly Damage Reduction)
Thermal: (Thermal Anomaly Damage Reduction)
Radiation: (Absorb or Emit Radiation)
These bonuses range from Weak to Maximum.
An artifact with Maximum Radiation protection can cancel out an artifact with Maximum Radiation emission.
To the artifacts that gives radiation damage, also cause damage on the gear?
So idealy you want to start with a liquid rock which should come from chemical anomoly areas they come with a radiation maximum defense positive alongside chemical maximum defense so thats a artifact to look at getting to enable you to equip another stronger or weaker artifact, keep in mind even maximum defense has it's limits on how much it can cancel out. so for example a maximum radiation defense will not keep the radiation at bay if you over equip artifacts. WEAK/MEDIUM/STRONG/MAXIMUM are the strengths
Also artifact hunting is a big part of stalker too and its very easy once you start learning the spawns and picking up artifacts for coupons after emissions. Yes artifacts respawn at certain locations after emission storms. there are some huge mission rewards for artifact hunting and generally farming artifacts makes you rich.
Damn, i kinda feel stupid and bad now, for seeling all my artifacts that i got :( Is it still worth playing the current run? :/ as i said i have like 12 hours, main story and side quest, with exploration combined.
It reduces bullet damage, when standing still, without drawbacks
Everything in its own time.
is there any guide you can provide to me?
