not really, you can actually get into the Prypiat even before you pass main story. Let's say there are ways how to get there :D though you need to know what you are doing
Glitching your way into areas you're not supposed to be in doesn't count. You can beat Shadow of Chornobyl by ignoring every single story mission too
it's not glitching. there is a way to jump there. You can google it.
Paywalled items are just unique versions of base game ones. They work pretty much the same

I would argue some are worse. In some versions you are stuck with the attachment
I have the suit from the Ultimate edition and I'm using a SEVA suit variant...The fancy Ultimate suit also requires a high end specialist as a technician, it's a late game item and has drawbacks of it's own, not a pay to win item.

The diamond exo is considered to be the best armor. It has a sprint upgrade. Editions items don't necessarily have the same stats as the standard versions. In some cases, they are actually worse. For example, the ultimate edition model competitor (revolver) is worse stats wise than the standard rhino. Edition items give just give a temporarily upgrade to what you have but the vanilla items are superior in the long run.

The real advantage, is probably the access to free dlcs and expansions in the case of the ultimate edition. That's it

Degtyarev's group is literally shouting over the megaphone that the entrance to Prypiat is prohibited. It is a glitch

Best armor before sprintable Exo is in Malachite, near STC Malachite base - it's behind some jumping puzzle

And Sidorovich tells you to kill swedish and yet you can kill the kill squad instead. And he will not attack you and you will continue main mission. There are plenty of decision in the game you can do

I deliberately avoided buying those editions(financial reasons aside), as having that extra stuff ruins the game experience. I mean if it's there, people generally use it. I'm so glad I didn't have any extra stuff given to me as it would've ruined that 'struggling for survival' feeling. I used to be vulnerable to FOMO, but these days it's the complete opposite. I just want the pure vanilla experience, which also happens to be the cheapest! :-)

You have no idea what you are talking about. Extra gear from both editions is placed in uniquely named stashes. If you do not want to use it, you just do not loot the stash. It is not like it is in your personal stash or you just run into it. Most of those Journalist stashes are hidden behind some jumping or other puzzles.
My 2nd playthrough, when the game is fully patched, will be without those additional items and I will have no problem playing without them even if I own Ultimate edition.

You should do some research before making silly comments like this. The forum is gonna eat you up for making false statements like this. Read, research, educate yourself.

you might as well say all the good guns are behind a paywall, since the journalist weapons are not in the base game
