But you cannot run in Exoskeleton.
The one I see that is slightly better is X7 Suit and is accesible near at the end of the game, and I am only at half of the game..... and I could access it if I would pay more.

Diamond exoskeleton is bet imo. It has highest psi protection from all exoskeletons, super high physical and rest is ok, which can be balanced with anomalies. If you don't care about PSI (for some reason), liberty exoskeleton is the best.
And I finished most game in SEVA-I armor which you will get quite early in game

I believe Cuirass Exo doesn't have that upgrade. It's probably the first Exo you find if you snoop around.

Yep I was using Liberty until I found diamond, both fully upgraded compared, Diamond is better.

not really, you can actually get into the Prypiat even before you pass main story. Let's say there are ways how to get there :D though you need to know what you are doing

Glitching your way into areas you're not supposed to be in doesn't count. You can beat Shadow of Chornobyl by ignoring every single story mission too

This is the same base version it's just upgraded. Although it looks strong I would not use any armor without psi protection. rest of the protection is basically just anomalies
