Do two maximum artifacts stack?
I have two hypercubes equipped; not sure if I'm wasting a slot or not.

In at least some cases, they are believed to stack, yes. The example given by somebody was that two Endurance Maximum artifacts demonstrably give more Endurance than a single Endurance Maximum artifact.

So Maximum is the maximum amount that a single artifact can give, not the maximum that you can benefit from in total.

Did you test it? just put them on and walk into thermal anomaly.
Some have been tested and confirmed they do stack, like Thunderberries.

Of course, you get DOUBLE MAXIMUM.

Some have been tested and confiormed they do stack, like Thunderberries.
I was uncertain as I still get bled pretty often in firefights

On the matter of Thunderberries, like i said in 1 other thread, they make you Forrest Gump on steroids.

I think artifacts helping bleed means that your bleed heals more quickly, not that you don't take as much bleed in the first place.

I would love to see a confirmation from a developer on this. I tried to do some testing with Solid Rock and radiation resistance. Two Solid Rocks did not prevent me from dying in radiation zones that are meant to kill you--one above Slag Heap, another on the bridge north-east of Cement Factory, etc. When I used Liquid Rock and Weird Water, however, the radiation did not kill me immediately but slowly grew and I could actually run through a lot of those dead zones.

There are caps to stats, someone datamined them and posted on Redit. One such cap is weight limit, which is 140 and can not be increased past that point by any combination of artifacts or Hercules medication. If there is a cap on weight limit, I would dare to say there are caps on resistances as well to prevent you from being completely immune. My speculation but it would be great to see clarification from GSC.

Just make sure they are in Lead Lined slots, you can tell the slot is Lead Lined because it has a green mark at the bottom of the Artifact slot.

Agreed, I've been posting about my experience in other threads about using multiple thunderberries but I have not had a chance to test all artifacts, it would however be ridiculous to stack 4 or 5 of any artifact and become a god haha, so there's definitely diminishing returns/a hard cap and that might be different depending on the artifact. Stacking compasses would just mean god mode otherwise.

Don't quote me on this but I've been hearing that rather than reducing the amount of bleeds you take in fights, they just reduce how fast the bleeed reduces your health. I just wish descriptions were more... descriptive, for artifacts. This is Meat Chunk giving ''400% health'' all over again.

Well of course weve had our Maximum... But what about a second Maximum?
NeXuS23 Mar 10 @ 4:22pm
I just noticed something weird with Thunderberries. I got a second, not equipped and noticed that my Endurance gone down much slower than usual, but I didn't even equip yet. Then I tested it equipped and Endurance is same. So somehow having one equipped and a second in Inventory doubles Endurance.
Nite69 Mar 10 @ 4:52pm
Yes artifacts will stack, I had 2 medium bleeding resistance together and the bleed icon is only like a few seconds now instead of like 10, just be sure you have either enough Lead containers or rad resistance artifacts to go with them

Yeah, pretty sure that bleed artifacts (I have one Hypercube that I found early on in Garbage) ONLY heal your bleed quicker, which is still VERY useful IMO. Basically turns bandages into free health since you don't have to worry about the bleed if you can't take cover right away. I can have a bloodsucker swipe me a few times and cause a bad bleed, which will then magically clear itself up in seconds, rather than forcing me to time a bandage so as not to die.
