Yeah. After he does. You should go to a cutscene. Afterwards you 'wake up' on the roof and his body should be right in front of you. You need to loot something off his corpse to forward the story.
When I did it my frames dropped to single digits. Most likely a hardware issue on my end. But really frustrating. Imagine fighting in slow motion.
Psi blocks seem to do nothing. The problem are all the slow animations that prevent me from doing anything. Between his psi attacks and the grenades his clones throw, I'm constantly stunned with randomized aiming, it is literally impossible to aim at his weak point. I also constantly have to reload & heal, which means more downtime animations of many seconds each during which his clones attack & grenade me to death and I can't shoot. 95% of the fight is just me waiting in animation lock or trying to aim. I just don't get it. This is NOT FUN.
A slow mo effect on this game would be pretty sick actually
After beating Foust the 1st time, I successfully chose correctly the question he asks and then cutscene and then we're on the roof, looted his body, surrounded by friends? (seemed like because everyone on the roof was Faust and he's dead and "your team" finally got to the roof to back you up?) No, just insta spawn 12 enemies that just aimbot insta destroy you, then you have to start over? Great dev decision there \s
2nd victory I did the fight (super easy now that I know the last segment) I thought... let's see if I choose differently on this question what happens... and.... you die, have to fight him AGAIN. Awful design here once again though at this point it is painfully easy fight just annoying AF for 0 reason.
3rd victory I chose what I chose the 1st time, cutscene, grab loot off body, can't find where to go because your obj. doesn't update to give you any direction so I jump off roof and die while getting absolutely pummeled by these aimboting enemies. --Seriously, you have MAX ACCURACY on a weapon and at very little range you can aim directly at face and the bullets hit all over the place. The enemies gunfire doesn't follow that random pattern because they just obliterate you. So awful.
4th victory, loot the body, just run around, see where to go, find the exit, obj. updates. Just pretty_bad_game_design_decisions here.
Its like, once you beat him the first time there should be an autosave prior to this idiotic "choose wrong and fight him again" question. This for me at least with 90hours of what I would call very enjoyable exploration, ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ around, having fun in the zone, was just a clusterf#ck of awfulness on the main story line of all things. Very odd choices they made here.
