Suppressors
Currently running a G36 (G37 ingame) and USP (UDP in game) with suppressors. If there is ANY difference in enemy NPC and or mutant detection distance of me vs the same two weapons unsupprssed; I can't tell. Anyone have a different experience or any hard evidence/data to the contrary? TY!

Yeah. Not sure how different it is per weapon, but shooting has a sound AOE whereing enemies know where you are, this AOE is bigger on unsuppressed weapons and smaller on suppressed weapons. For the SVD the detection range seems to be about 150-200m for unsuppressed shooting. For the AS Val and the suppressed pistols I've used it seems to be around 10m.

I noticed that with suppressed weapons AI still knows where you are (clearly), BUT if you shoot and relocate thy go investigate your last location and disengage if you dont shoot them again for a short time.

vs loud weapons, thy know where you are at all times.

It works like a real life suppressor; makes the gun a little bit more silent and hides muzzle flash. It doesn't make your shots undetectable though, just little harder to hear and a lot harder to see.
