So, if u pick up an artifact they will spawn there next time as well. The only random factor is, some spawn place can generate a random artifact, not the same one.
Ah, all right. It has been many years since I last played Stalker 1, I thought after every emission every anomaly had the chance to have an artifact for some reason. Probably I'm remembering it wrong.
It's kind of a shame though, wish every anomaly had a chance, not just the "forever hotspots" so to speak.

The other person is not correct, you are correct. I played Stalker Call of Pripyat and the anomalies DO randomly spawn artifacts after emissions. There are some anomaly fields with a much higher chance of one in particular (such as Oakpine often giving Kolobok) but AFAIK they are almost all random.
