Its a MUCH better game with Mods, like the originals.

I tried playing through Vanilla for maybe 10 hours, but had to dive into Mods that balanced the economy, durability, endurance, climbing. Its a shame, but its just so much more enjoyable. Simply being able to run without stopping to drink every 10-15 secs makes a huge difference.

If anyone feels tired playing after a few hours, just get the appropriate Mods and fix it. The original games were far more enjoyable after Moding and so is this.

Not all mods are cheats. I have mods installed that made NPCs do the same damage I deal. My Medpacks also heal over time and bandages ONLY deal with bleeding.

I actually resorted to mods to make the game harder cause it's already super easy.

Much of the content of mods have already been addressed by GSC in recent patches. You don't need 'em. lol.

Unless of course, you want to break the game; coz patch updates and now incompatible obsolete mods can potentially do that. lolx2

Stamina is really bad but it's pretty realistic considering how much weight the player is carrying, and, the run is a full sprint.

If i'd keep one mod out of those and lose others, The climbing one is real nice. 🍿

Considering I played the other 3 Stalkers, and eventually modded those, I already knew what was coming, so why SUFFER ♥♥♥♥ game mechanics when they can be tweaked to feel correct. And I came here to say it because some will just NOT buy it, or return it, when they might not have to. Performance issues aside, there is some TEDIOUS ♥♥♥♥ in this game, like the prior ones and Mods FIX it. MY game, not yours=) You can suffer. I'll have fun, thank you very much.

To help people and remind them the game can be IMPROVED!!! You might enjoy having to drink constantly just to run a few yards or have to use broken weapons. Sorry, but that's not FUN. Its tedious.
