Memory leak fix soon ?
The memory leak genuinely makes the game unplayable, I dont want to restart my game every 20 ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ minutes.

Ah yes, the memory leak that people with high, medium, low end computers with both Nvidia and AMD hardware experience are at fault and not just devs being incompetent.

I was getting this (open pda a few too many times in town and I’d have to reload the game), but since the patches it hasn’t happened. I’ve also got about 15 mods installed including some that “improve” visuals at the cost of performance. No im not on a 4090, but I do run all epic etc.

can you post your specs please? plus any overclocking done

stop using frame generation.
If you have a low Vram GPU(8GB or less) and you are already at 100% GPU usage don't turn on FG. is going to kill your GPU and cause stuttering into single digits fps after playing for 20m or so.

occasional stuttering still may happen, what i do is putting the game into window mode and back into full screen mode.

Never had this happen and have run game for 3-4 hours numerous times.
If you have to restart after 20 mins, it is on your end.

Well some facts would be nice as with my middle hardware i can play for 5 hours straight without issue and the only reason i did not player longer, was as i had other stuff to do.

so instead of talking about something everyone has issue with, something you can't state honesly as you don't know everyone and how the game perform for them

state the fact you might have issue with the game i don't know only thing i can ask do your computer satisfy the requierment for the game

what are the specs of your hardware?
No problems after patch, 5700xt sapphire nitro+ special edition

Sadly on a 4060. Playing ~70 FPS on 1440p medium, DLSS quality

I don't get it, why people say to disable FG? I have an i5 and a 3060 12gb vram, I played to hours to no end and never had a crash.

My GPU usage is to 60% or 70%.

I never really looked into my PC usage while gaming, but this game is making me paranoid, my CPU reaches 99% and 80% most of the times.

I have good temps tho, I have noctua fans.

Why people say FG is bad and causes memory leaks?

My RAM usage with DLSS and FG is 16-17gb, if I disable DLSS and FG i get a damn 26gb of RAM usage. Why? Still not getting an answer anywhere.

My rig is not the best, but DLSS and FG is what makes the game enjoyable and smooth for me, I can play with FG off, but, the reason is because people everywhere have been saying that FG "will break your GPU" how, is this game really capable of breaking your GPU? What do people mean when they say that? Thank you

Played for like 6 hours yesterday and do not experience this issue. I'm thinking this could be potato-related

Well, it does happen.

Just played for a few hours and fps drops to 6.
Sometimes it pops back up to normal.

I believe FSR is the culprit, but haven't tested it enough.

FYI, my specs:
i7 10700K, 32 gigs ram, 2080 Super, Win 10

Potato related or not, it needs to be fixed.

I dont think it is FSR specifically, Im using Nvidia counterparts and it still happens. Could be all DLSS/FG

If it is an isse with FSR, try turning off framegen

Sufficiently powerful hardware doesn't require framegen
Neither does a well-optimised game, but this is the world we live in.

if with outdated gpu you don't need framegen, i don't use it with my 1080TI
and that one belong in a museum, but i play it nicly without framegen or anything fancy on hige/epic in 5120 x 1440 without issue
