If anything other guns need to be buffed instead of nerfing the mighty Mak.
I think it is an obvious attempt to give the player an early, reliable weapon. I understand the mechanical reasons why and I don't hate it. I barely use it, just sell it and get another.
Just use others if you want and return to glorious Nikolay Makarov when you tire of the alternatives.
Don't like it? Then sell it.
