does hamster still got old inventory or he's getting some better gears?
will Zalissya getting new guide?
Hamsters inventory is the same, it's just kinda important to have him because while Warlock will buy weapons and ammo, he pays significantly less than Hamster.
Not sure how often I will be needing to stop in Zalissya for offloading loot, but it's still nice to keep him around regardless.
There's a work around for this to save Hamster but that Ricochet guy will die no matter what, it's basically a timing thing. trying to trigger the mission progress before they walk into the kill door.
Basically do all the optional missions, collect the surgery kit, kill the scouts, find the guide, get warlocks gun etc. but leave the hamster one for last. make sure you get all the dialog and rewards from each task giver (don't forget to get the 1000 coupons from the pharmacist outside who is a unmarked task giver he's tied to the killing the scouts one.
Once you've done that go to Gaffer he'll ask about your progress and choose the I can't do it option you should get the SEVA suit as a reward. You can do a save file here at the door to Hamster, go to Hamster do your 6k bribing as before, This is where the timing part needs to be right and fast, immediately run to Warlock tell him you dealt with Hamster then immediately run out of town, I like to leave the building going right continuing straight. This'll trigger the second wave attack.
Come back to the town, defeat the enemies, then Gaffer will say come to the building to talk, don't do that instead leave town just like before which you'll get a radio from Gaffer saying the town is saved, don't return yet keep running away until the mission status says mission complete it'll pop up when it does.
That's when you can return and hopefully Hamster will be there, spared. But poor Ricochet will always be dead at the door, so far haven't figured how to save him, whether or not he's even worth saving that is. Good luck.
and yeah I dont think people really need him that much at this point practical wise as well, just nice to have a weapon merchant & familiar face in settlement.
Yeah i am not doing all that f that lol
Patch 1.0.3 specifically says that Hamster and Ricochet will no longer die.
Not worth reloading however many hours you have played since their deaths no doubt.
Perform Hamster's quest last - If you performed this quest FIRST and he's inside the town hall before 2nd wave begins, he will die/disappear.
You must not allow Hamster to walk into Town-hall after turning-in his quest.
When you bribe Richochet, immediately run back to the Warlock-skip through convo as fast as possible, immediately run to gaffer and turn-in the the last quest.
Run out of town as fast as possible (150 yards)
Wait for the radio signal for Gaffer to ask for help, 2nd wave of monolithians.
Join the fight, clear the monolithians.
Once the monolithians are all dead, Gaffer will try to gather everyone in Town-hall - Don't go yet.
Run outside of Town again, wait for Gaffer to signal "Zaliyssa is safe for everyone again, etc."
Come back to town, go to the Town-hall, listen to the speech. (Hamster won't be there yet.)
Quest will complete this time and it will remove itself from your log.
Leave the town-hall, leave the town 150-200yards, come back to town, and check town-hall, Hamster will be there in the corner as a vendor again.

These people made the whole game, and it's really very good, I was lucky enough to to have many issues at all.
But this one quest for Zalissya launched broken in literally every possible stage of it and now it's been 2 months with all the patches targeting this quest specifically and apparently it still doesn't work, the patches just added or changed some work arounds.
I don't think it's possible to cóck up a quest design any worse.
