That's so cool! Wow, you're incredible OP!
Now download Mysery mod or Anomaly and do the same
I'd rather have Bozz run around with his body armor and assault rifle in the game than outside

Shooting things and the whole survival aspcet gets a bit blurry later into the game. As long as you can reach your private box, all is well.
What I do to keep the thrill up - only go out at night (nightvision would be nice though -.-), pack very light (couple of bandages, medkits, only a few mags for each weapon). I also equip a sniper weapon and a shotgun - using the former always as initial weapon. That way I've to switch to the shotgun and get close. My oh-♥♥♥♥-button is my trusty revolver :) Everything with huge clips is easymode (assault rifles, Skifs pistole, SMGs).
RE difficulty - I'm using Stalker. Reducing the player damage is not what I have in mind when raising difficulty (nor is it more HP for enemies -.-). There should be better AI tactics then and other factors to pose a challenge (special munition, less effective healing).
Having said that - I really don't like what they've done to medkits. I can't quite put my finger on it yet - but they are the "all is well" card to pretty much any ♥♥♥♥♥♥ situation. And most of the game design seems to incorporate that. Want to fight a psi enemy? You have to rely on medkits to get closer. That one boar out of 5 swarming you rammed you into the ground? "Your health is gone -> but how about taking that medkit?"
There is easy difficulty for people like you, here we talk about harder difficulty so it may not be the place for you to come and talk as you don't seem to even understand the point.
I play games for the hardcore experiance, that is what I like, if you like playing on easy it's great for you but I don't care as you should stop caring about me wanting a harder game...
@zpc
I was thinking the exact same about the Medkits, I think if you start by nerfing them, maybe make them heal you slower like some HPs every second and you actually need to hide until it makes effect, would make the encounters harder.
Also give some side effects if you abuse them, make you very tired or whatever so you can't just abuse them 100 times in combat.
I would prefer something in the middle both during early game and then mid game... then late game, it could be something much harder for sure.
This prety much lol
Now the toughest (or most annoying) enemies are those super troopers with the armor. Its taken another step in the direction of becoming a gerneric FPS where humans are the main threats.
I like the line with 200 bandages and 50 medkits. I can easily bring back from one trip 50 medkits and similar amount of bandages. My stash has 800 medkits and 800 bandagers but I have stopped putting them there ages ago. I just sell them to vendors for extra coupons.
The game balance sucks even on Stalker difficulty. I'm now at the stage of the game where even zombie can tank headshot and still shoot back. I'm not talking about armored monolothian, damn zombie that shuffles towards me with no cover on its head. The game is not difficult, it is just annoying and immersion breaking.
/facepalm
imagine the cost of repairing your armor when it gets a little scratched is more than the pay of the job of you single handedly destroying an army of fully armed exskeleton armored soldiers that can destroy any faction they target
