People like you in Death stranding discussions also create topics and complain that the developer is forcing you to walk around the world?

Walking would not be so bad if I could loot as I go but No game gives you ♥♥♥♥ for weight limit and I am always over weight 10 mins after I leave a hub its a real pain in the butt and I know well I don't have to loot ♥♥♥♥ but then how do I make money to buy ♥♥♥♥ and repair my gear 24/7 I have a real love hate for this game right now

Lol Gen-Z's attention span is pathetic. Can any of you sit still in a chair for 60 seconds?

There is fast travel at 'city' locations for a fee.

I was tired of running everywhere, but mainly because I was overloaded and wanted to sell guns/etc. Running while you are not encumbered is quick; like 5x as fast at least, and things are not that far apart.

Now, I have about 1/2 the map uncovered; not sure where I am in the story, but just got missions in the Swamp. I rarely ever get encumbered now, because I only take 4 food with me, 4 anti-rads, and a dozen health packs and bandages, with ~100 ammo for 3 guns.

I also have ~100k coupons with gear as modded as I can, so I don't bother picking up weapons anymore unless they are near 100% to sell. For me it has gotten better because I don't carry a lot of stuff, and I don't pick up a lot of stuff now...

sick of Stalker tourists that expect Anomaly level features developed over like 15 years

Yeah, just like the older games, you realize you can't be a loot goblin, and have to be picky-choosy with what you pick up.

Serious question: what were you guys expecting since the previous games were already walking simulators, and that we knew that S2 would have a 64 sq.km map with no vehicles and very limited fast travel (e.g guides) ?
the previous game is good, 15 years ago, of course we are expecting more from a modern game, not just a remake

I dunno, some of us were hoping for exactly that. Classic Stalker with much improved visuals, which is what weve gotten. And no, im not excusing the bugginess of the game and Im not thrilled about it, but I also understand why its like it is and am willing to cut GSC some slack rather that regurgitate hate. The balancing act of what to take and what to leave behind, how willing are you to crawl along overloaded for half an hour to make a thousand extra in cash, etc. The heart of the Stalker franchise was always about struggle, atmosphere, and lots of dying and not a fast paced shooter. Theres lots of those out there, not so many like Stalker.

You cannot play like this the moment that you need repairs for the guns and armor you lose half of that 100k thats why it is a must to pick like every weapon at least the expansive onces or els you will find youself out of money. The repairs is a big issue imo and also the stamina is really bad.

These new-gens don't know about running loot from stashes, to stashes, to stashes, until all your loot is in one spot next to a city. That's when you become a one-Gopnik trade caravan. DW YOUR ATTENTION SPANS WILL HEAL OVER TIME.

its stalker, what did you expect?
Coldhands 30 NOV 2024 a las 6:17 p. m.
It is a bit sparse. Part of that is deliberate (the quiet emptiness is an important part of Stalker's atmosphere) and part of it is, I think, the A-Life system not working the way it's supposed to and creating traffic and encounters across the world map.
The original games weren't as open as Stalker 2, so they didn't feel as empty, but I think GSC has planned around the bigger, less dense map here ... their plans just aren't working correctly yet.
