Why is Stealth broken? I really like the game but bad stealth just kills it for me

Stealth just doesnt work, and even bigger issue is that some of early main missions are based around stealth. I really dont want to go around zone just killing every person that spots me from miles away.

Yes the stealth is badly implemented, more like an after thought. It is what it is.

It works just not like other games, the NPCs don’t just ¯\_(ツ)_/ it off if they get a glimpse of you and once spotted won’t look around for 5 seconds then think the coast is clear, you literally need to spot them before they are even on your compass, find a high lookout, wait for a storm or night, make sure your using a silencer ect… I’ve cleared countless groups not getting spotted.

This is where 50% of the hate of this game is coming from.

Newkids who can't "stealth-archer-from-a-bethesda-game" their way through a FPS.

Turn the difficulty down to easy, it's more your guys' speed.

I only sneak to a good shooting position

I agree with the enemies seeing u for 100m or more, even in the dark lol and though a vegetation

There's a mod that fixes the stealth if you want that.

Stealth works really well for me with a silencer. Also no flashlight and watching noise levels.
