EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION Still happening after the latest update.

I'm still getting this error even after the most recent update. It keeps happening every time I try entering the WPS building. I have no idea what is happening. Can someone PLEASE help me out as I really want to continue.

Well, most likely no 1 can help u with that. Upload the crash reports. Devs need to handle it.

Other than that, try to make sure that your game is not crashing because of some hardware fault or limit. Try to load another save. If nothing helps, go around it for the moment.

Try lowering your texture quality or some other graphics settings, these exception usually come when running out of vram. these memory leaks are still persistent.
Or simoly wait for a patch.

I appreciate your guy's help but i have tried everything at this point. I have lowered the GFX to low and have run the game at 720p, hasn't worked. I've gone back to past saves and tried doing things differently, hasn't worked.

My system specs are
Intel Core i7-10750H CPU 6 cores 12 threads 2.6-4.72 GHz
32 gigs of Corsair Vengance DDR4 3200 MHz RAM
NVidia GeForce 1660 TI with 8 gigs of GDDR6 VRAM

With those specs I have been able to run other UE5 games with little to no issues at all. So I don't know whats going on with this game in particular.

Same thing- Game crashes with an exception_access_violation error during the hot on the trail mission where you have to get the key from north and go to the roof of the WPS building - crashing at that point in the game. frustrating

Its comforting to know that I'm not the only one with this exact issue. I even tried reinstalling the game again 2 days ago just to see if there was anything different but no. Still keeps crashing when I enter the building. It sucks though. because when the glitch first happened I had 4.2 hours of gameplay which is beyond the refund policy time. Since that glitch is still happening it feels like my $60 was stolen from me.

Some crashed is related to hardware acceleration, turn it off in win 10/11 and restart pc. Not sure if this will help you in this case. Had this problem in a building in rostok, always crashing... but no more.

Hmm seems like a possibility but how do I turn off hardware acceleration in Windows 10.

Well just looked at my PC settings and it turns out hardware acceleration is already turned off yet I'm still having that issue in Stalker 2.

Turning off hardware acceleration is not going to work.. itll still crash plus compiling shaders took 30 minutes to load and once the game started - it stuttered and graphics took a long time to render because software rendering is really slow .

Game ran flawless until this point, now it crashes every 3-5 minutes in Rostok. i9 14900F, 4090, 32GB, WIn 11 (23H2).

I've tried windowed and fullscreen and it makes no difference either way.
