Faction ranking isnt so much hidden, as that is displayed on the map (certain towns will have red, white or green icons depending on your rank with them)
Fanbois and trolls said get good. Now with proof of the rank system they can all get bent because I was right they're wrong. Again.
Yeah I noticed this too when I was suddenly able to get better armor from a trader after doing a mission right after just looking at the vendor right before, I suddenly have Berill-5M appearing in there and it evidently has something to do with a "rank" that isnt disclosed to you, but it seems that they go by the STALKER rank system in some form, just wish I knew what it was at any given time.
It might not be a "rank system" in the traditional sense of how it progressed in the early games, sure, it doesn't seem to be affected by kills and such because the enemy spawns are reflected by your rank, which seems to be tied to progression so its very bare bones and "In Name Only" kinda way
But prices are mainly tied to faction ranks imo.
Also repairs went like 30% cheaper- from 11k to 8k. Checked it by loading save b4 and after completing side mission.
Hint for cheesing- Sidorovicj doesnt care much what u do.
Im not so sure about GUIDEs though, to me it seems they get cheaper the more I do main missions...
Some of these takes are baffling.
