The way the hitboxes / aiming works is starting to annoy me.
It's not so bad with longer range shots, needing to have it exactly on the center dot because that precise pixel is where the bullet will aim for feels odd, but is manageable, sometimes you even miss and random spread means you hit anyway, othertimes you clearly have it dead on, but random spread means you hit anyway, I can work with that fine enough.

Where it's really not working though, is shotguns and melee attacks at close or touching range.

Firing a shotgun or swinging a knife when your target is covering 90% of your screen space, but having it miss because it's still scanning for the hit based on only the pixel of the white dot in the centre isn't working.

The knife is actually ridiculously difficult to "aim" you swing horizontal but only the crossheir worth of screen space is actually accounted for.

i'm using a slug rather than buckshot on the shotgun, so I understand I don't have the wide spread, but the same bizarre feeling still applies, it's a point blank shot but because the actual white dot was maybe next to a neck or in an armpit gap, the fact the shotgun itself was pressed into their face is irrelevant.

I just got píssed fighting a bloodsucker lol, I know I can just hold A and they 100% teleport to your right side, but I was finding it impossible to hit because of how shooting works.
