Too many people complaining about mechanics and balancing when the real issue is them not knowing how to play the game. If you're that tired of the mechanic go download a mod that changes it instead of complaining
He is free to complain, you are not the one to tell him what to do.
It was like, i forget exactly, like 40k or something to repair, just shy of red
Now with the patch it was just 13k or so WAY cheaper. SO yeah patch done good, and weapons so much easier to repair to keep running smooth. Couple hundred of Im keeping on top of it. Before hand was THOUSANDS to repair just a little

And it's one thing to have one post about this, but he is one of thousands repeating the same ♥♥♥♥ that ends up burying the few unique and constructive discussions about the game. The best solution for most of these people would be to read a guide and learn the game instead of posting.
So if you repair a weapon a 5% damage, then 5% again later, it's cheaper than if you waited for it to be at 10% total damage?
i just top up the repairs on all my gear every time I make a trip back to sell stuff and it's still expensive, but it's never been completely draining or unaffordable.
I believe that is indeed how it works, but it's important to remember that upgrades impact repair cost (patch may have changed this though).
And that's how you're meant to do it, after every excursion you return to a technician and repair everything, instead of letting your stuff get destroyed before getting it fixed.
