why no 170hz..
If you are using frame generation, make sure Nvidia Reflex is on. Not sure if AMD has a similar setting, but enabling frame generation will introduce frame latency, which sounds a lot like what's described.
TSR worked pretty well for me along with FSR3 frame generation, may want to try that just to see if it might be better. I had resolution scale at 70% and it still looked great, 65% had even better performance and I couldn't see much difference.
If DLSS cant be activated, could be it's a non-RTX Nvidia GPU, or an AMD GPU.
What kind of GPU do you have?
May want to make sure all your drivers are up to date too, friend of mine had been playing the game with sub-par performance, then updated his drivers and was amazed at the difference afterward.
Am using DLSS Quality mode now, also on an RTX 3080.
Have heard people mentioning their DLSS files in the game's files being out of date, might be worth looking into updating those to see if it gets DLSS working too.
