Did your performance improve?
Before the patch today, I was getting 44-50 fps with random stutters on low/mid with performance mods and DLSS performance.

Now it runs like a whole new game for me, 104+ fps on Ultra with vanilla installation and DLSS quality.

How does your game run since the update? Similar or even better improvements?

Im really glad that they are starting strong with the post launch hypercare phase.

####EDIT####

If you ran any stability mods before, try removing them and reinstalling Stalker 2,
thats when the update made a major diffrence in my performance.

No change, Still getting memory leak and fps going down to 15 as soon I load the game again.

Why making stuff up? And when you make stuff up you should try to make it at least believable.

There were no technical performance optimization changes done other than minor fixes to FOV and apparently some texture pop-in it seems from the patch notes.

The game runs pretty much the same as before for me. It was and still is relatively smooth experience with the help of frame generation. The game run like ass without frame generation even if it was about 60FPS it never felt smooth.

I'm in Cordon right now, which usually didn't run bad. But so far it's at least holding steady fps around 50. It used to chug more, but again, I won't really know until I leave this area.

for me almost stopped the framedrops at towns, it keeps happening sometimes but far less than before patch

nope, matter of fact became worse, like many others after about 30 mins fps tanks. restarting the whole game is the only option for me unless I want to slide show watch the game.

mind you I was already playing this game at a locked 30!! FPS. now it cant even keep that.

The update seems to fix stability on my end. I did end up crashing once, but compared to crashing every 15 seconds its an improvement
Performance seems to have been the same. A little sluggish, but after I reinstalled the nexus mod it seems to have improved compared to prepatch. Working my way back to the first town now to see if that place still kills my frames. So far the patch seems alright, but could still use some work.

Im running a:
RTX 3070 8GB,
Ryzen 7 5800x3d,
32GB DDR4 ram

Running the game on a mix of medium and high with frame gen on. I would post my frames, but I'm running on Gamepass and the Win+G wont display my FPS for whatever reason. I can say its running and feels smooth even with frame gen off so I must be above 60fps (with the performance mod)

"Why making stuff up?" Asking yourself that question should tell you that I in fact didnt make anything up, what gain would I get ? Im glad its running well now, since it impacted my joy while playing a lot.

"Fixing potential memory leak" in fact has the potential of fixing framerate and stuttering issues, which it apparently did in my case.

Its sad to see, that more people than I expected still cant run the game well

Oh... well I hope I wont encounter the same issue, so far I ran stress tests and didnt have a play session over 2 Hours.

Yeah I also ran into issues while running the pre-patch mods I used for stability.
I did a full reinstall after the patch, to make sure I run a fresh vanilla version of the game, to get some realistic stresstest results

No improvement here.

Try loading the save file again, That's when it happens to me.

After this update, it runs very smooth on Epic. I also started to use Frame Generation as well, because it feels that much better now.

With FG, I get 130 FPS.

Overall performance has increased slightly. More noticeable improvement in large areas of the zone with nps, but crashes appear out of nowhere more often, especially at high settings
