120+ and after 1 hour playing drop to 10 fps
There were no technical performance optimization changes done other than minor fixes to FOV and apparently some texture pop-in it seems from the patch notes.
The game runs pretty much the same as before for me. It was and still is relatively smooth experience with the help of frame generation. The game run like ass without frame generation even if it was about 60FPS it never felt smooth.
mind you I was already playing this game at a locked 30!! FPS. now it cant even keep that.
Performance seems to have been the same. A little sluggish, but after I reinstalled the nexus mod it seems to have improved compared to prepatch. Working my way back to the first town now to see if that place still kills my frames. So far the patch seems alright, but could still use some work.
Im running a:
RTX 3070 8GB,
Ryzen 7 5800x3d,
32GB DDR4 ram
Running the game on a mix of medium and high with frame gen on. I would post my frames, but I'm running on Gamepass and the Win+G wont display my FPS for whatever reason. I can say its running and feels smooth even with frame gen off so I must be above 60fps (with the performance mod)
"Why making stuff up?" Asking yourself that question should tell you that I in fact didnt make anything up, what gain would I get ? Im glad its running well now, since it impacted my joy while playing a lot.
"Fixing potential memory leak" in fact has the potential of fixing framerate and stuttering issues, which it apparently did in my case.
Its sad to see, that more people than I expected still cant run the game well
Oh... well I hope I wont encounter the same issue, so far I ran stress tests and didnt have a play session over 2 Hours.
Yeah I also ran into issues while running the pre-patch mods I used for stability.
I did a full reinstall after the patch, to make sure I run a fresh vanilla version of the game, to get some realistic stresstest results
With FG, I get 130 FPS.
