Keybind is a really big pain for left handed playing generally on keypad. 5 makes you level your view while going backward...unplayable. they really need to remove all hardcoded Keys.. waiting a little more but will surely get refunded soon

I use okl; instead of wasd, using KeyTweak is how I combat muppet game designers and hard coded keys.

Using this app rebind ol and ws (swapped) and rebind V for melee elsewhere (as you see fit) and the game becomes playable to a degree (o is tut, l is light?? <maybe - can't remember [HARDCODED OFC])

I ordered the game long before its release. I expected there would be many issues to fix after its launch, but I was still looking forward to it. However, the hard-coded key layout was something I couldn't have imagined in my worst nightmare. For me, the ability to customize key bindings is a fundamental feature, and I assume it's relatively simple to implement. Graphical optimization and some other functional bugs wouldn't bother me as much if I could at least walk around the Zone with a key configuration that I'm used to and can use effectively...

Q/E for lean left/right

Z/C (Y/C europe Layout) for the quickslots

all changes worked. Only Z/Y (I changed to Quickslot 1) is still not working. 50% that he use the Quickslot, 50% he toggle the gun.
When changing the assignment, the game also says that it is already being used, but not with which action. However, the button is not assigned any further functions in the entire control system

It strange how it allows you to change direction keys to cursor keys but then climbing ladders is still 'W' . How does it do that. If up has been changed to up cursor, why is it looking at 'W' for climb up ladder. Metro Exodus use to have the same type of bug. It must have something to do with that end of the world and their keyboards.
