Literally in their first 2 sentences they clarify "no mods, just vanilla game."
This is why we can't have constructive discussions anywhere.
My next crash was caused when I fell into the bunker, I didn’t use the ladder and fell in like a true gooner.
I already removed those files.
I understand there were 3 of them, verified integrity, started new game.
Now I’m testing. Everything I’m posting is after I did those things and started a new game.
I’ll try that, just crashed again while picking up the scanner from the 2nd time you put it down, where it creates fire anomalies. Seems like the patch made the game fairly unplayable for me and many others if a fix can’t be found.

Now I’ve made it past picking up the scanner, but I’ve crashed three times in an row exiting the little cave where you put it down.
Gona have to put this game down for now, I’ve had over 10 crashes repeatedly in less than an hour of gameplay. Hope the devs put out emergency patch for this.
What I did is reload a very old save that was before the soflock in Visions Of truth and now I no longer crash. I lost around four hours of progress compared to my last save in Pripyat but hey that's what you get when developers decide to release their games in a broken buggy state.
