Burers are easier to kill than bloodsuckers. If you can fire off 3-4 shotgun rounds of buckshot into their head they're dead before they can even attack you.
How is extending the fight more exciting if it's boring to kill faster...? It's the same boring fight but longer right? While also wasting your ammo...
You can't use the excuse of Chimera's and Pseudogiant's, Why? Well because those mutants are suppose to be legendary mutants that are not very common. They are suppose to be near indestructible mutants/bosses in the STALKER lore so why in the world should they be easily killed because a few whiners want to play rambo?
Literally half of these complains prove to me people either did not play anything STALKER before this game or severely mis-remember how those older games play and how mutant balancing was.
This.
People are that stupid or just idiot posting to get attention.
Neither is good for the game. Or humanity.
These people that love tedium need to play old old OLD MMO games like Lineage 2 and Ragnarok Online, man lol.
@Mike : Yes, I can. And I did. and I will keep doing so.
"Legendary". Doesn't matter, it should not take FIVE ACTUAL MINUTES of a MISERABLE CYCLE of being hit, so you heal, fire, so you reload but you get hit so you have to heal but you get knocked down so you heal so you can reload so you can heal because reloading took too long so you can fire a bit and then get knocked down.
BOTH Chimera and Pseudos do this and you are forced to face at least 1 of each in the main quest, NVM the exploration ones.
Bloodsuckers are awful too but you just back into a corner with a shotgun, eat some damage and burst them down.
Stop denying reality. I will laugh at you. You bad taste in mechanics is what is going on here.
I love this reply.
I want the kids defending bad sponge enemies to record themselves fighting a "perfectly fine" Chimera, Pseudo, or 1-3 bloodsuckers.
No reloading but now they also have to worry about ♥♥♥♥ damage and high stam usage. LOL.
And after that, they can record themselves killing these big \ annoying enemies with the anomaly checking bolt (Broke a window with it, so may do dmg)
pretty much this for me. I rather be killed easier than having bullet sponge enemies personally. I remember modding fallout to be this way. I could be one-shot in the head but body shots took a little more and killing enemies were similar (but not for all, kinda depended on enemy type).
I mean, this is a game where guns are your primary selling point, the last thing you want to do is to make them feel like pea shooter or Temu bb gun.
This is exactly why modern gaming is so trash. People only care about their preferences being shoved into a game, without even trying to understand why thing are they way they are. Not everything that you personally dislike is a "bug" or "bad balancing", and sometimes its gamers misunderstanding game mechanics and why the devs tuned things the way they did.
I have no issues with devs fixing game breaking bugs as those are a must, but this idead of make snap decisions to game balancing that can completely change a players experience should not be a thing this soon after release.
They should take note of other studios that give players modifiers, where if some players want to make the game brain dead easy with infinite armor and mutants that die to pee shooters they can. Those who want a hardcore stalker experience (as they have always been) will have that option too.
