Ha - more QA ? - what QA took place for FS2024 before release last week - or any of the other GP games over the years that needed patches in the first few weeks after years of development - every patch arrives late on Windows Store but for no good reason. An ETA would be great.

That's why I bought STALKER 2 instead. I have gamepass, but my experience with games on gamepass have been unconvenient as far as updates are concerned. I find that games are better supported outside of gamepass. No delays, no missing features etc.

Just had a chat with Game Pass support. Said updates usually gets pushed to Game Pass within 24-72hrs. Now its friday and doubt it is going to be updated on weekend. So, saturday stalking session means something different this weekend. XD

They said it would come out for xbox later today. Whether that means PC game pass I have no idea.

Guaranteed they'll be working all weekend on this. That's why you don't normally release a major patch on Friday!

GSC devs surely. Microsoft staff on the other hand... Would't bet my money on that. But the money what I pay for Game Pass and what I get in return, can't really complain about few day delays.

But hey, Far Cry 5 is on sale.

There is no doubt some process that takes place before updates can appear on the Microsoft Store (Xbox + PC) - but its hardly QA given the state of games like FS2024 - and some games have found a way of dealing with it

The mystery is why the Xbox console version got through at the same time as Steam PC but not Windows PC

Its a myth that GP is the greatest value - for PC players - digital PC games can be found cheap - and GP releases are getting worse and worse - some of hte best games arent GP these days

We love the game but with those changes I'd dont want to continue further if its imminent so an ETA please?
