Stalker 2 and Vortex compatiblity

[Old Master Fudo]

moving all my mods over too vortex after having some activation issues. they are now working correctly yet I'm confused what to do about ini engine tweaks. does vortex handle those files or do they need to be manual handled ?

right now I cant even find where vortex is putting the Ini engine file. I know for certain the mod I downloaded uses one.

vortex is nexus's own mod manger app. you download it from there site and log in and it automates the mod installing process so you just click the a few buttons instead of digging around in your game files.

with stalker 2 and vortex it add's mods no problem but you still needed to add ini files manually.

Anything in regards to the engine.ini file needs to be input manually.

Steam version doesn't use a engine.ini, it uses the GameUserSettings.ini (or something like that, same folder). So best bet is to copy the lines you need and paste them below in your GUS.ini.

this is correct, I was going off outdated information on a mod page that was uploaded less then 24 hours after release.

Oh okay!! My bad
