questionable mission rewards

I am a bit confused about these mission rewards.
You all probably came across the scoped ak pretty much at the beginning of the game with 100% durability, this is not directly a mission reward but you loot it from a stash involving the mission.
There are some others like that and they always are 100% durability.
Then without spoiling anything there is npc #1
Telling you that you could finish the side mission normally or you could give him the item and he gives you a nice gun in return. Upon inspecting its a 0% durability AR.
NPC #2 asks you to retrieve his gun he dropt in a pond, you can either return or keep it but this is also 0% durability.
Npc#3 gives you a camo skin AK for your help, also 0% durability.
I understand the game making me choose between the "good" and "bad" option.

But when the good option is your normal average 750$ and the bad option is a 20.000$ repair bill i am a bit left like...wtf? am i missing something here?

Well it depends on what you need in your current situation, if you look at the gun and it's bog standard/non-unique, taking the coupons instead is probably better, but if it's a unique named gun with special properties or even if it comes with a bunch of upgrades on it your current gun doesn't have, the repair bill might be worth it!
