FPS Boost - Must have
Guys, for anyone wanting more stable frame times, and more FPS in general, this is MUST HAVE mod. No visual dowgrade.

https://www.nexusmods.com/stalker2heartofchornobyl/mods/7

The latest update from 28. November made even bigger difference then before.

Try it yourself, I guarante you'll see big difference

I’m having constant 110+fps on mixed high settings that even locks to 144 (which I did in nvidia control panel)

It really makes a night and day difference

I had no issues for now. Only quest bug I had was that I could talk to Loodchonka or whatever the guy name was. Door to his place was not opening. Once I slept 2-3 times and quick loaded the game it worked. Other way to fix those things is to no-clip through walls…

But yeah, those things are something that devs will hopefull fix with this weekend patch

I just got that door bug, did you just reload right at the entrance until it opened, or how did you go about fixing it?

I went back to the base and went to beed to sleep, then went to doors and they’ve opened. I think I needed to do that 2-3 times until the door opened. Give it a shot I think it should work

If it doesnt work, just download UE engine tweaks via nexus and no clip through that doors..

I'll give it a try and if that first thing does not work I will wait for a patch. Thanks!

Double Checked looks the same on my end and having more Stable FPS when beeing in a Monolith Warzone is absolute worth it

These mods literaly disable graphical features, therefor they make the game look worse. Anyone who knows what to look for will notice ;)

This is what I believe, otherwise the devs would have released it like this, if it was so easy to boost FPS.

the mod also stopped random crashing in the game.

actually, this is the better one - https://www.nexusmods.com/stalker2heartofchornobyl/mods/17?tab=files

Yes, agreed! Using this modified GameUserSettings.ini and Stalker 2 runs smooth like butter

tried serveral versions they even reduce my perfomance because the GPU usage drops for me by like 10% and CPU usage goes up. Game runs even better for me on max settings then med or high. Without mod when i turn my camera 360 very fast my fps drop not below 42 fps but with they drop to the 30s and stutter alot cause my CPU bottleneck. My System is a RTX 3080 10gb, 32gb Ram, Ryzen 5800x3d and 2TB M2 SSD

You literally need to stand in place and look for a difference, and still its hard to notice :) its not about disabling or lowering graphics rather tweaks to memory and bandwith etc.

I generally have stable FPS everywhere, but as soon as I enter the camp, that's it, there's a slam. I tried various optimization mods, but it didn't help. Now I'll check this one, but I doubt it will help.

Give it a shot and come back to us, I hope it’ll help at least little bit :)

I wanted more stable frame so I nailed the monitor to the wall.

Not sure why people aren't understanding that FPS and performance in games is not JUST the GPU. Your CPU matters a lot. "Oh I have a RTX 4090 so I should have ZERO problems!"

OK, what type of CPU do you have driving that 4090 because if it ain't up to snuff, it is actually keeping your GPU from flying.

Now that's not saying the game doesn't have performance issues and memory problems, it definitely does.

Performance sucks as i already said on my 4090 with the Ryzen 9 7950x3D - it's far from unplayable, but these dips down to the 50ish fps are annoying as hell

Just as an update / warning to others:

The patch for me increased pop in.
Made latency better but it felt more juddery.

Also when i uninstalled and resumed my save file i had multiple crashes where before i had not had a single crash.

I ended up having to go back to an earlier save before i'd installed the mod to avoid the crashes.

Im staying away from mods for now at least for my first playthrough.

be careful, I noticed most of these disable the distortion effect around anomalies and invisible bloodsuckers.
People reported that problem and it is fixed already.
