However, there are ways to mitigate this input lag:
NVIDIA Reflex: This technology can help reduce system latency, which can help offset the additional lag introduced by frame generation.
Optimal Settings: Experiment with different frame generation settings to find the best balance between performance and input responsiveness.
Monitor Choice: Using a high-refresh-rate monitor can help minimize the perceived impact of input lag.
It's important to note that the impact of frame generation on input lag can vary depending on the specific game, hardware, and software configuration. Some users may be more sensitive to input lag than others.
If you're experiencing significant input lag with frame generation enabled, you might want to consider disabling it or adjusting your settings to find a suitable compromise between performance and responsiveness.
This mod makes it almost playable:

if you only get 30 fps then use fg and then you get 60 youll get input lag of 30.
im using it as it grabs me 120 fps so input lag is fine.
On my 4090, nvidias frame gen latency is inpercievable tbh.
On my 3050 8GB on my htpc using dlss quality with fsr for frame gen, I didn't test it much, but, I couldn't really tell there was any notable increase in input lag.
Just how bad are you seeing it be?
That is not how nvidias frame gen works...
If you are on a 4090 or lower tier card with moderate settings, you're fine.
If you are enabling framegen and netting 70-90fps, framegen is hurting you more than helping.
If your total FPS with framegen on can stay above roughly 100-150+ fps you won't feel any sort of terrible input lag.
You need the latest nvidia drivers to get the support for both in stalker 2.
If you turn framegen on in stalker 2, you'll see reflex grayed out, but its actually turned on.
The game needs to natively support both reflex and framegen for it to work though, as you're using an RTX card, it should be working just fine, if you're still getting latency issues, its more than likely caused by other things, such as g-sync or something? *shrugs i don't use or have g-sync.
I personally use both framegen and reflex, as im using a 4060, and there is no increase to my latency.
