It turns your PC off?
What are your temp ? Like the entire PC shutdown ?
Half-Life 3 Nov 28, 2024 @ 9:46am
Probably overheating and rebooting to avoid damage on CPU or GPU.

Overheating shouldnt take that long. My guess is the Memory Leak, which shouldnt result in a shutdown though.
Youre OCing and undervolting?

go here
Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Security and Maintenance

and on the left youll see "View archived messages" click that and find where the last time it crashed is, itll tell you what caused it.

You mention both overclock and undervolt, so i would start there. Whatever you may feel is " proper " is another thing, but unless you are on stock settings, you cannot really blame the game.

Just type "event manager" in the win search and look for critical errors. May help.

Typically on Steam on it's temps or the PSU but not being willing to remove undervolt and OC to rule out stability issues from them is going to make that a less safe bet this time round. But good luck OP and let us know when you get it sorted what it was.

Turns mine off too. my specs 7900xtx/ryzen 9 5900x/ 32gb ram/ x570 pg velocita MB/PSU 850 watt. My pc never shuts off while playing any other game

What Graphics card / CPU are you on? I get the exact same issue (complete shut down) no OC or UV here. This is the only game that has issues. Cpu 5800x3d and a Rx6800xt GPU.

Nothing helpful in event viewer (first place i went )

So im not the only one. Yeah this game is something. Havent heard a game harming hardware in a very long time but stalker 2 takes the cake. I could run the game on medium with my 3070Ti and all the bells and whistles turned off and somehow the temperature jumps like 20+ degrees. Thats all just sitting in the main menu. Forced my fans to go crazy but its just not safe to play stalker at the moment. Had my screen freeze up but could hear the game still going until i hard reset.

My computer freezes too. I undervolted the CPU. I analyzed the programs running on the computer with Procmon64 for 10 minutes. I close unnecessary programs that use excessive CPU while playing the game.

for me
Asus Armoury Create
Asus GPU Tweak
Corsair iCUE
Logitech G Hub
also i closed Steam and Nvidia Overlay
