Swamps - the worst location in Stalker 2

Swamps are the worst thing I've seen in Stalker 2. I used to love this location - lots of quests, lots of artifacts, beautiful. Now it's a completely empty location, not a single NPC, no chest to put your loot in, no merchant to sell to, you walk with an overweight, there's water all around that slows you down even more. An electrical anomaly in the water that slows you down even more. And then... an emission. No one notifies about it, the shelter isn't marked on the map, I ran into the house and just died. I don't know how to get out of here now.

difficult location for sure. i died there a few times until i decided to get the missions done and not explore the area. keep getting stuck in deep water so i understand your frustration.

I'm stuck at the swamps trying to get a main mission done but I'm stuck because of the emission and a big 2 or 3 headed dog mutant chasing me down idk how to get out

you have to run. stay to the path on the right so you dont get slowed down by the water

It is possible. You just need to find path and remember it

There is nothing to do in the swamps because of the lore... Dont want to spoil anithing but i also would not hang around the swamps if chilling there means turn in to a zombie...

It seems to just start whenever, really.

I was able to get to the bunker before the emission started, and the Chimera spawned too far away.
