put this on launch option
-xgeshadercompile -nothreadtimeout -NoVerifyGC -force-dx11
Also: 2060 can't use framegen, but the DLSS is serviceable with a 1080 monitor. Ghosting and artifacts, for sure. But, I don't mind. Turn shadows to medium to stop them looking weird.
And I am using the -xgeshadercompile -nothreadtimeout -NoVerifyGC commands.
put this on launch option
-xgeshadercompile -nothreadtimeout -NoVerifyGC -force-dx11
Can you say what those parameters exactly do? I just got the dx12 launch parameter on steam.
I use the first three because, as far as I know, DX11 doesn't do anything. First command seems to stabilise FPS, second allegedly stops crashes by allowing the game to continue processing stuck threads, last is supposed to mess with memory allocation. Turning them on and off, I noticed that the last one just prolongs the time it takes until the game seizes up from the memory bug.
Before these parameters my game was crashing every 30-40 minutes. After doing these I played for 10 hours today without crashing. I got the parameters from somewhere in the guide section and tried them all one by one. The game does not support DX11 but that's okay.
