is there ANY defense mechanism against the wandering lightning spheres ?

Is there anything you can do against the wandering sphere lightning anomalies ?
I am in the factory quest in the basement and that sucker is repeatedly killing me.
Dodging it does NOT work in that cellar.

certain artifacts plus using the scientist armor, bonus if you spent money upgrading armor. some places can be tricky to get into without the right gear.

Electricity resistance artifacts, and armor with it, other than that no.

unequip all artifact from slots (but not 100%sure, mayby its just Weird Ball what atract them)

Yeah that anomaly has an interting gimmick to it - it's attracted to artifacts on your belt. Unequip them and it will simply circle around without homing onto you

btw throwing bolts also kinda works

no way of any of that due to lack of money, following the beginner quest in the factory basement where the is a bloodsucker at the same time.

they are attracted to artifacts - you can find lore/speak with an NPC who gives you this info
