Completly uselss comment ...
I think OP has a pretty good and objectively written thread ...
Just browse around the forum, people can't even progress ingame, because of softlocking bugs ....
The game has managed to completely alienate a whole part of its playerbase with asinine and weird gameplay design decisions. I feel like I'm legitimate to call GSC out for that, at the very least.
Another valid point, there is a lot missing especially to do with the A-Life 2.0 but I wouldn't go as far to say it's a scam.. tho it did drop very late with the info that it wasn't going to make the release so no argument there.
I don't personally feel that it's playing like an early access tho, it does work just missing some very major parts that a fan could say What the Actual
I'm glad it was launched because I don't believe the A-Life 2.0 will be ready in a year, just the same as all these others riding the A.I bubble.
We have the Zone and a great single player story, plus we have a studio that actually lets the users play around with the code and that's where some good stuff is gunna happen
That said these people usually dont blindly love the game, they know there is a lot to be fixed
Just broken
Its getting positive reviews because the game is really really good, despite the current issues which obviously will be resolved
