Weapon attachment disappeared

The rail on my viper-5 disappeared and I can no longer attach a sight even though the technician modding page still acts like the sight mount is installed...

I guess that's another bug to report on their site that will get fixed between now and who knows.

Same thing happened to a shotgun of mine that had the magazine upgrade. Loaded up the game and it was gone

I've reported it via their support page, support request 21718 lmao....seems like they've had a few reports....

Same for me, it was perfectly fine for the session I was in after modding it but after turning the game off and loading back in the sight is in my inventory and the actual rail on the gun is missing but I cant mod it back on etc :(

The gunsmith is broken, you have to save the game, before doing any weapon tuning.

Install the sight mount (nothing else), exit the gunsmith. Install your red dot optic. If everything works, save the game on a different slot and try to further tweak your weapon.

Everything was fine and working with no issues till I quit the game and then came back to my save today and my sight rail is now missing even though it says its installed...

Got my shotgun magazine back go to magazine feed upgrade and click on it to turn green it gave it back to me

I bought 2 weapon attachments from Hamster and even it says those fits to Viper-5, they dont work. Must be bug.

Have you actually modded your Viper-5 to add a sights rail so you can actually attach the sights to it??

Load an safegame before you have attached your modifiacation and try it again. It worked for me.

This is separate from the bugs confirmed to happen with attachments, and another bad issue with the tech ui. just to put it out there for people who can't put attachments on in the first place, rather than "Had it on, it is gone now what the ♥♥♥♥"

You can disable the attachment rails upgrade if you click on it again because ?????? The Viper upgrade tree in particular has the icons obscure the top of the gun so it is harder to notice the rail is gone. ALSO there is seemingly no visible change to the inventory image of the gun if the rail is on or off.

This is different than the "Attachment that was ON the gun, has now vanished" ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ bugs. But I know at least one person who ran into "Not bugged, it just bought the rail then disabled it while navigating the menu before they could even attach a sight in the first place" issues.
