PS5 Controller

Can’t get my controller working at all. I’ve enabled Steam Input, I start the game and it gives controller glyphs but nothing else. No buttons are registering. Anyone got any ideas? I’ve been though the controller settings and nothing seems to work. Argh!

Unfortunately this didn’t work. I get to the main menu and it shows keyboard prompts, then if I press a button on my controller it gives Xbox prompts, as I’d expect, but then nothing. Not a single button is detected after that. It’s not a soft lock as the mouse works but it’s not working with the controller

If you can find and test it, try "Stalker 2 Temporary Controller Fix" under show all layouts in community layout tab.

If you can find and test it, try "Stalker 2 Temporary Controller Fix" under show all layouts in community layout tab.

I couldn’t find this in the all layouts tab. Going to just give up at this point.

I can share the layout just copy to "C: Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Steam Controller Configs\<user_id>\config\<app_id or name>\" After you downloaded it.

My controller (Gulikit KK3 Pro) stopping working after the patch of today. Why?? It was working since day one!

Do you have steam setup to emulate xinput when using your dualsense or is it acting as a dualsense? If it's reading it as a dualsense then it won't work as the game doesn't support D-input.

Thanks guys. I really don’t fancy downloading DS4 just to make it work. I’ll have to hang on a bit before playing I guess.

No need DS4 for the preset i sent, used without it too. Need to know of it works for anyone here.
