Can not get into Chemical Plant

Somehow I ended up siding with Warden in the Lesser Zone, so now I cannot go directly to Garbage but must go to the chemical plant, however, whilst I can get into it all doors are locked and I need to find Colonel Koprshunov, if I go to certain places in the chemical plant they starting shooting me - getting a bit fed up with the game, what with artifacts not appearing in the lesser zone, the stupid spawning of enemies, etc.

Any idea how to get in to the chemical plant and find the Colonel?

The colonel isn't in the plant, check your map for a marker in the garbage. He should be near the bandit base that you assault in Shadow of Chernobyl.

Thanks, I have done that and found the Colonel, I just wanted to stash stuff in the box, visit the technician, etc.

its story locked til mid game. nothing good there anyways. better town just north of there
