Villages? In a territory contaminated with radioactive materials? REALLY?!
"no one" yeah well if you wanted a reskin there is mods for that instead of paying full price for an EA ahh release with key feature not included lol
sorry for putting expectations when previous team made history in gaming industry where here the game will just be forgotten with how "meh" it is and i highly doubt future updates will make it shine
base product is way too average, if not below average
ok it looks good, but this is NOT what makes a game good
and main story line feels a bit weird and useless for some reasons but it's off topic
So announcements like this are someone pointless other than feeling like you want so share your personal feelings with a public announcement.
It is not meant to be a full on Survival Game and was never meant to be, it has some survival elements but that is not the main focus. Far too many people nowadays with little to no imagination hence get bored easily, if they are not hand held and told to do everything they whinge.
Same here.
One of the starting areas is literally a village.
Thats why I like it. The desolation with an occasional intense combat situation.
Totally reminds me of Farcry 2.
Completely agree. The long stretches of "nothing to do" are just monotonous. Sure, some open worlds are great when "the journey is the game" but that just doesn't work here, because the survival aspects are not fleshed out enough to make the journey itself engaging.
In Fallout 4, you were always stumbling over something to explore, an enemy to fight, or something to loot.
And that's why Fallout 4 worked and Starfield didn't.
Bethesda went the "emptiness is realistic" path in Starfield, saying "When the astronauts went to the moon they werent bored." Except this is a video game, and having nothing to do but press forward isn't good gameplay.
The long, tiresome stretches of nothing between missions points, and the lack of any meaningful exploration, or any meaningful survival mechanics make this game a slog to play.
wow lol, i have thousands of hours in the original trilogy/anomaly, gamma and EFP, i guess ive just been spoilt by the passion modders have put into the franchise because anomaly and its mod packs are 100x better than this.
Cute that you'd assume so much about me though, thats funny.
oh and next gen looking? my dude the game looks like a mid 2010's game at best
