I've played 30 hours of the game and I'm sorry but it's boring
I always find the same thing (first aid kit, bread and sausage) this game does not encourage exploration. I have the impression that all these positive reviews are purely sentimental.

by the way, where is the survival if I have 60 first aid kits in my inventory?
the game seems impossible to explore and get into the character and go through the main missions.

I wish there was some form of base building, character development, more interaction with NPCs, villages or towns where all these people live and so on. All of this missing. 7 Days has more to offer tbh.

Villages? In a territory contaminated with radioactive materials? REALLY?!

"no one" yeah well if you wanted a reskin there is mods for that instead of paying full price for an EA ahh release with key feature not included lol

sorry for putting expectations when previous team made history in gaming industry where here the game will just be forgotten with how "meh" it is and i highly doubt future updates will make it shine
base product is way too average, if not below average

ok it looks good, but this is NOT what makes a game good

and main story line feels a bit weird and useless for some reasons but it's off topic

"Boring" is completely subjective though as fun is generally always subjective and in the context of a game it most definitely is.

So announcements like this are someone pointless other than feeling like you want so share your personal feelings with a public announcement.

I enjoy exploring the locations, this has a lot more depth and hidden treasures in almost each location. Compering to previous installments its even more so. There is too much "clutter" loot but it helps saving money on basic items, mods exist to cull that. New blueprints, weapons, lore, puzzles and triggered events are really cool too. Prypjat is stacked with awesome ♥♥♥♥!. Keep your eyes open and stalker senses high.

I think the game is fine without the bug's. It's nailed the atmosphere of the stalker games. Has it's core mechanics, It technically a reboot of the game with all the locations of the last three games. It looks good also. Still need's work. The quest system is easier. They need fix day and night issue, and remove timed quests.

OP played SCUM for 700 hours. OP clearly lacks IQ.

It is not meant to be a full on Survival Game and was never meant to be, it has some survival elements but that is not the main focus. Far too many people nowadays with little to no imagination hence get bored easily, if they are not hand held and told to do everything they whinge.

One of the starting areas is literally a village.

Thats why I like it. The desolation with an occasional intense combat situation.
Totally reminds me of Farcry 2.

If they added a motorcycle I wouldn't hate this game as much as I do but that's never happening. I just want this game to end already, I can't stand walking back and forth 1 - 3 km every time I finish a main quest (sometimes side quests send you that far as well). Especially when the story in this game is a slog and not remotely as interesting as it should be. I feel like I'm playing Fallout 4 but without the interesting lore and world building. Yes, that game sucks story wise (partially gameplay wise as well) but those two aspect carry tf out that game.

Completely agree. The long stretches of "nothing to do" are just monotonous. Sure, some open worlds are great when "the journey is the game" but that just doesn't work here, because the survival aspects are not fleshed out enough to make the journey itself engaging.

In Fallout 4, you were always stumbling over something to explore, an enemy to fight, or something to loot.

Because Fallout 4 is builded like a theme park to never annoy you, it's far from being realistic.

And that's why Fallout 4 worked and Starfield didn't.

Bethesda went the "emptiness is realistic" path in Starfield, saying "When the astronauts went to the moon they werent bored." Except this is a video game, and having nothing to do but press forward isn't good gameplay.

The long, tiresome stretches of nothing between missions points, and the lack of any meaningful exploration, or any meaningful survival mechanics make this game a slog to play.

its GREAT FUN...u just clearly missing the point of stalker games and were hoping for an open world call of duty with jeeps, helicopters and planes?stalker is a horror survival game 1st and foremost, not an fps.as modern things go,it looks better than every ubisoft game ever released graphicswise, the gunplay is snappy,ultra-detailed and satisfying...this is everything we stalker og wanted,a-life will be fixed soon just as it had to be fixed on every previous stalker game...its not gsc fault that u didnt bother to actually read up on what stalker is and bought a game blindly cuz it looks absolutely next-gen...u then realized its not as arcadey like call of duty and claiming its a bad game but no sir,u are just being a whiny karen about it!

wow lol, i have thousands of hours in the original trilogy/anomaly, gamma and EFP, i guess ive just been spoilt by the passion modders have put into the franchise because anomaly and its mod packs are 100x better than this.

Cute that you'd assume so much about me though, thats funny.

oh and next gen looking? my dude the game looks like a mid 2010's game at best
