Chimera or whatever its called impossible?

Got a save point stuck in a swamp where one of these jumps at me. If it doesn't kill me instantly. Which it normaly does. It knocks me over then hits me 2 more times and I die. I eventually gets me while reloading or healing. I have just died over 15 times. Any tips? I'm using saga12 shotgun.

They can die. They take a lot of bullets. I think about 3 mags from a fora. Try to aim for the head of just run.

I can't outrun it, it gets me 5 seconds after spawning and it normaly kills me no matter what I do. Even if I shoot it as it jumps it just mauls me while im knocked over.

This is crazy... I enjoy hardcore games but this is beyond that.. like nothing I can do it beats me everry time.

You can just run away from it.. I am not sure why you are saying you can't outrun it. Evade first jump and run run. Chimera from Mirror was tracking me for like 3km from initial spot, that was intense lol

I managed to outrun it in the swamps and the mirror installation.

I found one guarding a tunnel to the east of SIRCAA. I might come back with some RPG's and see what's in there.

make sure you have expansive type ammunition in the future it does more damage to mutants

How do I evade its jump, it looks like something from a cutscene it just comes straight to me.

So yea, here to survive on the next load I had to run left or right immediately upon load and it missed, after then it gave me some room to breath to make a little distance and start drinking those non stops. Not encumbered tho..

You can outrun it as long as you aren't overweight, but if you're having trouble, mutants won't enter glass anomalies. You can use the ones on the way as resting points

If it's the Clear Sky base, ignore the chimera and just run for the quest marker shack like it tells you to. Use energy drinks to keep your stamina up. You could eventually kill it but you will have burned too much time and just be killed by the emission instead. Just run.

Yeah that is what I did, but crap if you are loaded with stuff it's very difficult. Tried to shotgun it the first few times, just wasting ammo and med kits

I'm almost sure i am soft locked at this point, now on 60 deaths and still can't survive. I can make it to the closest shack which isnt enough to prrotect me from the storm so Im dead either way

Don't kill it. Just run to the quest point. Don't run in straight line. Use trees and other objects so it can't jump on you. Drink non-stop if it is far.
If I am not mistaken I was able to run from it with a bit of overweight. On veteran difficulty.
Also this Chimera and emission is scripted here. You are supposed to run exactly to the quest point. There is no more other shelters you can hide
