Are they permanently there? Usually they go awaya after world state ends?
The one's in Duga, which i think are the most confusing, since you must go there at some point, are posted around the main entry. You must approach Duga from further south, being extra careful not to trigger the sniper sentries around the main wall perimeter, and you will eventually find a secondary entrance for the rendezvous
He's not immortal, just stupidly tanky. When I wanted to use the guide by the chemical plant because all other bases in the southwest half of the map are gone, I'd kill him so the doors would stop locking, takes maybe 30+ armour piercing shots to the head with an m701 sniper or similar numbers of shotgun shells to the head.
If that's true that's the stupidest thing I've ever heard. I've put probably 20 non armor peircing shots sniper rounts into his head and no sign of death.
Absolutely ridiculous, why even put this guy on the map at this point? Does he drop anything??
Same in Duga. Because you get there during the main mission. If you go too early to that area, they implemented unkillable Sniper NPC's to keep you away from the Duga.
Again, Bad Game-Design.
