You mean how it is estabilished in the lore that scientist study mutant specimens as part of their research into the zone?
Or how Trapper has made a living in the zone hunting mutants?
Or how bad game design means incentivizing players to actively avoid engaging with content you put into the game?
The biggest whiner here is you, teetotaller.
Not included in other games. Not included in this game. Cry more.
Excellent counter argument. That sure showed me.
Modders are simply modifying what is there. Devs create what the modders are using, the two aren't the same. However, a good portion of those modders are likely much better versed in how to properly use the UE5 engine. So it wouldn't be a bad thing to seek guidance sometimes.
Hopefully modders will turn the game to something special in the future. Because right now it's just a casual wannabe hardcore shooter.
So, what made the old Stalkers different except "bad Ai and missing A-Life"? Please elaborate.
Because Devs run out of manpower before mods are allowed to touch it.
What I really love about modding this time around is they have a fan-friendly studio on their side who will in all likelyhood incorporate QoL goodies into the expansions like they did with the original stalker series.
But on the matter of software development, online connections works just fine, people use github for a reason.
