Best non-Exo suit ?

Which is the most well-rounded non-Exo suit, and where can I find it ?

it was a bit too easy to get the best gear in CoP, since you could just collect and sell artifacts on repeat, go to Nimble and keep buying his stuff until you get the Exoskeleton and F2000

Guardian of Freedom suite servers me well as a mid-tier armor. I messed up the upgrade path and instead of increased protection I used weight reduction instead. It is still nice balance of environmental and physical protection. It also has 4 artifact slots and potential 2 lead containers. The only downside is that it does not have any PSI protection.

Suits without helmets don't have PSI protection.

SEVA suits have head coverings, you cannot wear a helmet with it.

They have closed systems.

I have a Corundum suit, It's physical is better than an EXO, and the other resistances are similar to a SEVA, it's the best suit I've seen by far. It's like an EXO you can sprint with. Unfortunately I can't remember where I got it. I haven't been North of Yaniv yet so it was in the bottom two thirds of the map

Exoskeletons except just 1, have a sprint upgrade. I run at max speed in my Diamond exoskeleton everywhere.

Anomalies in this game aren't even that dangerous to justify worrying about maxing out resistances other than physical and radiation. Exos are king. It's not like in GAMMA where I have 1 suit for bullet protection, 1 suit for mutants, and a suit/artifacts for different types of anomalies.

With strong artifacts, and a diamond exoskeleton, most anomalies are trivial.

Fyi if you are steering away from exos because they can't sprint, there's an upgrade for it later. I think some require blueprint though.
