almost 90k player on a broken and empty game

I was waiting this game for so long... but how people can still enjoy playing it while almost every thing is broke ?

A life system is broke.
The loot etc... is so unbalance and ininterresting.
Optimisation is terrible.
Balistic is a total ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ and unbalance (unrealistic damages, no body reaction to bullet)

How people can enjoy roaming an empty game (maybe the main story is good, I hope so) where you only loot grenades on dead body, bandages and medkit.

This is such a disapointment... Modders will have a lot of work to do :(

I have encounters often enough. I don't get the empty game part.
There's some broken things, no doubt, but the world is not empty in my game.

It's called sunk cost fallacy. We spent 60 bucks on this and now we gotta squeeze our money's worth out of it before going back to ANOMALY or GAMMA where the real gameplay is.

That said, it is mildly interesting to see what happened to all our favorite legendary stalkers from the older titles, and thats about the extent of my interest in finishing this game.

I don't understand how anyone can play this game without a functioning A-life and even come close to enjoying it. How can you enjoy this game with a magic bubble spawner following you everywhere you go?

I mean...if you want the STALKER vibe you should be playing an OG modlist...not this garbage.

The funny thing is, if you are light enough and just keep running, you outrun the bubble and then you get NO spawns. :D

But naw, like I said, my only interest in this game is just to see the progression of the story. This is like playing fallout 3 and 4 when fallout 1 and 2 were your favorite games, just to see the universe, even though they're inferior versions.

I like it, that's all. Even if it is rough in many ways currently :)

I misspoke earlier—this is my actual system:

CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 7950X3D
GPU: NVIDIA RTX 4090
RAM: 32GB DDR5
Storage: 2TB NVMe SSD
PSU: 1000W+ 80+ Platinum-rated
Cooling: Liquid Cooler
Monitor: 4K 144Hz

Even with this setup, my GPU is maxing out at 100% usage while my CPU stays around 50%. So while the game may have CPU-dependence, it’s clearly hammering the GPU as well. Considering this is a top-end system, it’s frustrating that the performance issues persist—it’s clearly an optimization issue.
